Results were expressed for their medium-sized AE SEM. For the control group, the results obtained for the baseline values were 0.89 AE 0.08 lg/dL (CSynbas) and 0.96 AE 0.12 lg/dL (CEleabas), with P = 0.68; and post-ACTH values were 9.14 AE 0.46 lg/dL (CSynpos) and 9.00 AE 0.71 lg/dL (CEleapos), with P = 0.58 There was no significant difference between the mean baseline and post-stimulation in the control group, when comparing the results among drugs. For the treated group, the baseline values were 1.71 AE 0.34 lg/dL (TtoSynbas) and 1.82 AE 0.48 lg/dL (TtoEleabas), with P = 0.82; and after ACTH values were 7.85 AE 2.2 lg/ dL (TtoSynpos) and 7.90 AE 2.1 lg/dL (TtoEleapos), with P = 0.98. Therefore, no significant difference was observed between the values obtained when comparing the use of these two drugs applied in the tests.
