All participants have a respiratory specimen collected that is linked with demographic information, illness characteristics, behavioral, and other clinical metadata. The primary outcome is influenza infection status as defined by molecular diagnostic testing. The study takes place during influenza season (October to May) annually, starting with 2018-2019.
