With respect to RealArt Parvo B19 LC PCR (Qiagen, Hamburg), this assay can detect all three genotypes according some researchers, but no by others [64] . Appropriate clinical specimens for nucleic acid analysis include plasma, serum, bone marrow, placental and fetal tissues and amniotic fluid.
