The mesenchymal subtype of GBM showed the highest ISG20 expression level compared with the other subtypes, whereas the proneural subtype had the lowest ISG20 level (Figure 2 (b); Fig. S1B ). Moreover, ISG20 expression was up-regulated in 1p/ 19q-non-co-deleted gliomas compared with those with 1p/19qco-deletion (Figure 2(c); Fig. S1C ). In addition, ISG20 expression was significantly higher in IDHwt tumors compared with IDHmut tumors across all tumor grades (Figure 2 (d-f), Fig. S1D-F) . Overall, these results suggest that ISG20 expression is suppressed in IDH mutant tumors and is associated with higher tumor malignancy.
