Snippet: For examples, the outer membrane protein H (OmpH) of Pasteurella multocida has a significant similarity in both primary and secondary with those of other serotypes. The recombinant OmpH proteins expressed in E. coli were antigenic and showed strong protection against P. multocida infection. The OmpH might be a useful vaccine candidate antigens for P. multocida [56] . The recombination protein containing the middle-C-terminal regions of P. multoci.....
Document: For examples, the outer membrane protein H (OmpH) of Pasteurella multocida has a significant similarity in both primary and secondary with those of other serotypes. The recombinant OmpH proteins expressed in E. coli were antigenic and showed strong protection against P. multocida infection. The OmpH might be a useful vaccine candidate antigens for P. multocida [56] . The recombination protein containing the middle-C-terminal regions of P. multocida toxin (PMT) which was expressed in E. coli induced high titers of PMT-specific antibodies and showed effective protection against homologous challenge in mice [57] . Heat-labile toxin B subunit (LTB) of enterotoxigenic E. coli (ETEC) can be used as an adjuvant, carrier of fused proteins, and antigen itself. Immunization of recombinant LTB protein produced in transgenic rice callus induced humoral and secretory antibody immune responses. This indicated that LTB protein can be a plant-based edible vaccine candidate against ETEC [58] .
