The recoveries in our study ranged from 75.16 to 86.36%, while the CV values ranged from 5.08 to 11.53%, which could sufficiently satisfy the CODEX Alimentarius guideline. The results presented herein demonstrated that many matrix components in food could be removed by using mAb-MNP conjugates to purify FQs from animal meat. We suggest that this new system can be used as a simple and effective method for purification of fluroquinolones from food matrix.
