Treatments received prior to referral were florfenicol (Nuflor; Merck Animal Health, Madison, NJ, U.S.A.), tulathromycin (Draxxin; Zoetis), and moxidectin (Cydectin Pour-On; Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica) (Case 1); flunixin meglumine (Cases 1 & 4); and procaine penicillin G (33,000 to 40,000 IU/kg SC once a day for 2 to 4 days; Cases 2, 3 & 4) .
