A recent study also describes cross-reactivity of CD8 Ï© T cells specific for a myelin-derived peptide with a Saccharomyces cerevisiae peptide (24) . In this case, cross-reactive CTLs could only be induced with the self-peptide and not with the Saccharomyces antigen.
