There were areas of inflammation comprising lymphocytes, plasma cellsand numerous lipid-laden macrophages. (Fig. 4) . At the mesenteric lymph nodes, severe fibrosis and hyalinization were observed in interstitium; the lymph follicles were atrophied and replaced by lipid-laden macrophages (Fig. 5) .
