Snippet: Expression of Firefly Luciferase by the C3P3-G1 expression system was investigated in other cell lines, including the Chinese hamster CHO-K1, the human cervix carcinoma HeLa, the human liver HepG2, and the human fibroblasts WI-38 cells. Document: Expression of Firefly Luciferase by the C3P3-G1 expression system was investigated in other cell lines, including the Chinese hamster CHO-K1, the human cervix carcinoma HeLa, the human liver HepG2, and the human fibroblasts WI-38 cells. The expression levels by the C3P3-G1 system were compared to the standard CMV-driven Firefly Luciferase expression plasmid, assayed as previously described. Striking variability was observed across the cell types, with best performances of the C3P3-G1 system observed with the CHO-K1 and HepG2 cell lines (Supplementary Figure S18 ). The mechanisms responsible for this variability across the different cell types will be investigated in further studies.
