Transcripts were synthesized with the Ambion T7-MEGAscript following the manufacturer's protocol, and RNAs were purified from denaturating 8 M urea/5% polyacrylamide gels, followed by elution and ethanol precipitation. Purified RNAs were dissolved in sterile water and stored at À20 C.
