Results: Of the 30 horses included, 47% (14/30) had SID AB disorders. Single metabolic AB disorders identified in diarrheic horses included strong ion acidosis (6/14; 43%) and USA acidosis (1/14; 7%). Detected mixed metabolic AB disorders were SID acidosis and A tot alkalosis (5/14; 36%), and USA acidosis and A tot alkalosis (1/14; 7%).
