Five validated indices of RVSF were measured: tricuspid annular plane systolic excursion (TAPSE), fractional area change, lateral tricuspid annular longitudinal peak systolic velocity (S'), and longitudinal global strain (Strain) and strain rate of the RV free wall. Groups were compared using one-way ANOVA and Sidak's test. Frequencies of cases with cardiac remodeling falling outside previously-established reference intervals were compared using Fisher's exact test.
