Document: A total of 74 dogs were enrolled. Flow cytometry diagnosis of B-cell lymphoma was consistent with histopathologic diagnosis in all cases. Seventy-seven percent of dogs were diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). There were no phenotyping differences between the subcategories of lymphoma detectable by our FC panel. All DLBCLs fell above a minimum forward light scatter value, indicating that cell size, as established by FC, may be useful to rule out this disease. The median overall survival time (MST) for DLBCL (316 days) was statistically significant compared to that of all other histopathologic subgroups combined (114 days, P = 0.0231).
