Systemic medical therapy with a combination of a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and a chemotherapeutic agent is the current mainstay of treatment. Receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) play an important role in promoting cell growth, differentiation and regulation of cell function. RTK inhibitor Palladia has been used anecdotally to treat TCC.
