Snippet: The current study is unprecedented in terms of size and control of bias. It revealed that glargine and PZIR produced comparable glycemic control and no detectable difference in remission rate among recruited cats. Clinicians should consider implementing a controlled weight loss program as a priority in overweight diabetic cats in order to promote remission. The effect of hyperadrenocorticism (HAC) on bone in dogs is controversial. The aim of this.....
Document: The current study is unprecedented in terms of size and control of bias. The aim of this study was to investigate its effect on bone turnover by assessing intact and whole parathyroid hormone (PTH) concentrations and markers of both osteoblastic (osteocalcin (OC)) and osteoclastic (carboxyterminal cross-linked telopeptide of type 1 collagen (ICTP)) activity.
