Snippet: This prospective study included 67 client-owned dogs presenting to the veterinary medical center for various diseases, including diabetes mellitus. All of the blood samples (N = 219) were collected from jugular veins. Blood glucose concentrations measured by 6 PBGMs (AlphaTrak2, iPet, OneTouch Ultra, Cerapet, VetMate, Optium Xceed) were compared to those measured by the reference method, and accuracies were evaluated according to ISO 15197:2013. .....
Document: This prospective study included 67 client-owned dogs presenting to the veterinary medical center for various diseases, including diabetes mellitus. Statistical agreements of PBGM measurements were determined by Spearman correlation analysis, Passing-Bablok regression analysis, the Wilcoxon signed-rank test, Bland-Altman plotting, and error grid analysis. Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests were performed to assess the variables expected to affect glucose measurements.
