However, 2 of the dogs on 15 mg/kg bid then developed significant diarrhea at the start of the second week of drug administration, necessitating a further dose reduction to 10 mg/kg bid. Therefore, by the end of the second week, 5 dogs were on 20 mg/kg, 1 dog was on 15 mg/kg, and 2 dogs were on 10 mg/kg bid. There were no significant changes in CBC, serum biochemistry or urinalysis results over the study period.
