On May 28, however, another patient who had not been included in the initial group under monitoring was diagnosed with MERS-CoV infection. By this time, several other patients among the firstgeneration cases who were also not included in the monitoring, had already been transferred to other hospitals, where new outbreaks emerged [1, 3] .
