He lived with his wife and there was apparently no close contact with anybody with acute respiratory symptoms. Upon admission, the patient was afebrile, his blood pressure was 110/80 mmHg, heart rate was 82 bmp and oxygen saturation was 94% on room air. On physical examination, he was alert but asthenic.
