These strategies, usually instituted as bundles, include patient isolation, active surveillance, geographic cohorting, standards for detection and reporting, monitoring of adherence and environmental control initiatives. These bundles have proven to be successful in multiple settings worldwide [83 & ,84 & ,85,86] , with early identification and isolation of asymptomatic carriers appearing to be a key component of successful interventions [85, 87] .
