In the past few years, efforts have increased to solve this difficulty by scientific means, use of crowd simulation models, 50e52 assessment of the best ways of grouping and scheduling pilgrims, 53 crowd management and control, 54 luggage management, video monitoring 51, 55, 56 and changes in the construction of the transport system for the event. 57 After applying those measure no stampedes since 2006.
