[10] [11] [12] Relevant empirical study was emphasized that informing public about the disease outbreak, such as the Ebola virus, could reduce worry about contracting the virus and take more preventive measures. 13 Evaluating the public risk perception of disease helps us know what knowledge the public needs. Therefore, understanding characteristics of risk perception and factors relating to how people perceive the risk is important in terms of minimizing the impact of spread of infectious disease.
