The allantoic fluids were harvested after 72 h and two blind passages were conducted to examine the efficiency of IBVSX16 inactivation. One part of the inactivated allantoic fluid was then emulsified with two parts (v/v) of paraffin oil (Hangzhou Oil Refinery, China).
