Document: In order to evaluate the effectiveness of our method, we test it by phylogenetic analysis on the CoVSet dataset. Coronaviruses (CoVs) belong to the genus Coronavirus of family Coronaviridae [42] . The first coronavirus (HCoV-229E) was isolated from humans in 1965. Until 2003, coronaviruses attracted little interest beyond causing mild upper respiratory tract infections. However, this phenomenon changed dramatically with the emergence of SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV. As of July 2017, 2040 laboratory-confirmed cases of MERS-CoV infection were reported in over 27 countries, and at least 710 individuals have died (crude CFR 34.8%) [43] .
