Its binding affinity is equivalent to a commercial anti-norovirus antibody. A magnetic capture method using aptamer combines the #25 aptamer and RT-PCR to detect norovirus in contaminated lettuce. The capture efficiency is 2.5-36% with a limit of detection as 10 copies/3 mL in a lettuce sample.
