Document: Numerous serum markers have been reported to be elevated in canine pancreatitis, although most lack sensitivity or specificity. Consequently, confirmed diagnosis requires results from a range of tests including imaging, serum biochemistry and physical examination. We therefore applied this approach to the detection of pancreatitis in dogs.
