The authors have received financial support from AB Science to help with the costs of statistical analyses in an unrelated project Advances in distinction between morphological subtypes of canine non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (NHL) have provided a better understanding of this cancer in dogs. Diffuse large B-cell lymphomas (DLBCL) are the most frequent form of NHL in dogs including some distinguished morphological subtypes (mainly centroblastic polymorphic and immunoblastic) according to the WHO classification. Few clinical studies reported DLBCL clinical outcomes under treatment while survival times of the centroblastic polymorphic subgroup were reported. The aim of this retrospective study was to evaluate the response of DLBCL to a standardized multi-agent chemotherapy protocol.
