Bacteria were isolated after 24h of growth in the haemoculture bottles and then grew on selective media for methicillinâ€resistant Staphyloccoccus spp. (MRS) and extendedâ€spectrum betaâ€lactamases producer (ESBL) Enterobacteriaceae. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing was performed by the disc diffusion method and/or minimum inhibitory concentration. CLSI clinical breakpoints were applied.
