Serum sRAGE concentrations were measured by ELISA and were compared among different groups of dogs using non‐parametric group comparisons. A potential relationship of serum sRAGE levels with clinical disease activity (CCECAI scoring system), serum and fecal inflammatory marker concentrations, and histologic lesion severity (4‐point semi‐quantitative grading system) was assessed using a Spearman rank‐sum correlation coefficient. Statistical significance was set at P<0.05.
