Then the volume of disector (Vdi~) was determined by multiplying the average surface of individual cells in the stack found by the point-counting method by the depth of the dissector, which is equal to the thickness of the section multiplied by the number of sections in the disector. The total number of clusters in individual ceils (Nclustcrs/cell) was determined by the formula,
