Thus, we conclude that in the presence of EDTA, essentially only the formation of type 1 dimers was recorded. Analysis according to model 1 gave the following values of the binding constants in EDTA: k a1 = 0.0453 ± 0.0036 µM 1 s 1 ; k d1 = 0.5083 ± 0.0078 s 1 ; and K D1 = 11.21 µM.
