Translation of Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme 2 upon Liver- and Lung-Targeted Delivery of Optimized Chemically Modified mRNA

Each experiment was performed with at least three technical replicates per sample. In addition, quantitative analysis of fluorescenceactivated cell sorting (FACS) samples and screening for the best performing cmRNA construct was performed with a minimum of three biological replicates. Results are shown as means ± SD unless otherwise stated. Statistical analysis was performed using GraphPad Prism software (version 6). Pairwise comparison of in vitro experiments was conducted by the two-tailed Student's t test and group comparisons of in vivo experiments were done by one-way ANOVA, followed by the Dunnett multiple-comparisons test. A p value % 0.05 was considered statistically significant.
