Eosinophilic lymphadenitis was diagnosed. Aerobic culture grew many Staphylococcus aureus, with susceptibility to amoxicillin/clavulanic acid (minimum inhibitory concentration = 0.25). Anaerobic and fungal cultures revealed no growth.
