The quantity and quality of RNA was determined by gel electrophoresis and NanoDrop 2000 spectrophotometer (Thermo Scientific). The PrimeScript RT reagent kit with gDNA Eraser (RR047A, Takara, Japan) was used to remove possible contaminating genomic DNA. The extracted RNA was firstly treated with gDNA Eraser for 2 min at 42ï‚°C, and then reverse-transcribed into cDNA for the mRNA reference gene analysis according to the instructions of the manufacturer. The final cDNA products were diluted 4-fold prior to use in qRT-PCR.
