The purpose of this review is assess current epidemiology and outcomes research related to COVID-19 with a focus on obstetric patients. This review covers the global spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, symptomatology, modes of transmission, and current knowledge gaps related to epidemiology and outcomes for the obstetric population.
