    Snippet: We hereby report a case of COVID-19 who presented acute pancreatitis (AP) without any other risk factors, which emphasizes the possibility of considering SARS-CoV-2 as a new etiological agent for AP. We suggest the study of pancreatic enzymes in COVID-19 patients with gastrointestinal symptoms, which may reveal pancreatic involvement that is not yet recognized in this population.
