Role of the new coronavirus infection caused by the SARS-COV-2 virus in the manifestation of multisystem inflammatory syndrome

In a series of clinical cases, a picture of an acute condition is described based on a new coronavirus infection COVID-19 that is accompanied by a pronounced inflammatory reaction of the vessels followed by the development of multiple organ failure syndrome. Therefore, a detailed study of the problem of multisystem inflammatory disorder is required taking into account the peculiarities of the pathogenesis and clinical picture, as well as differential analysis with Kawasaki syndrome, toxic shock syndrome and hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis based on concomitant rheumatic disease. In this regard, it is necessary to establish the data collection in a standardized form as early as possible with a description of the clinical picture of the specified condition, the severity of the course, outcomes and epidemiological characteristics. The World Health Organization has already prepared preliminary definitions and notification form for cases of multisystem inflammatory disorder. Our active participation will allow identifying new cases of multisystem inflammatory syndrome and thereby contributing to rational treatment and epidemiological surveillance. (English) [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] В сериях клинических случаев описывается картина остро возникшего состояния на фоне новой коронавирусной инфекции COVID-19, которое сопровождается выраженной воспалительной реакцией сосудов с последующим развитием синдрома полиорганной недостаточности. Следовательно, требуется подробное изучение проблемы мультисистемного воспалительного расстройства с учетом особенностей патогенеза и клинической картины, а также дифференциального анализа с синдромом Кавасаки, синдромом токсического шока и гемофагоцитарным лимфогистиоцитозом на фоне сопутствующего ревматологического заболевания. В этой связи является необходимым как можно раньше наладить сбор данных по стандартизованной форме с описанием клинической картины указанного состояния, тяжести течения, исходов и эпидемиологических характеристик. Всемирная организация здравоохранения уже подготовила предварительные определения и форму уведомления о случаях мультисистемного воспалительного расстройства. Наше активное участие позволит выявить новые случаи мультисистемного воспалительного синдрома и тем самым будет способствовать рациональному лечению и эпидемиологическому надзору.
