Changes in organs after coronavirus infection COVID-19: a clinical case

The SARS-CoV-2 virus has caused one of the most massive pandemics in modern history. The article describes a clinical case of death of a patient who had previously undergone COVID-19. An analysis of the accompanying medical documentation received (patient’s outpatient card, medical history), clinical and morphological analysis (description of macro- and micro-preparations) were carried out using histological and immune-histochemical research methods. Based on the data of medical documentation and the results of postmortem examination it was concluded that the cause of the patient’s death was bilateral organizing pneumonia as a result of pneumonia in combination with ischemic cerebral infarction, complicated by multiple organ failure. В статье представлено описание кли-нического случая смерти больной, ранее перенесшей COVID-19. Были проведены анализ полученной сопроводительной медицинской документации (амбулаторная карта пациента, история болезни), клинико-морфологический анализ (описа-ние макро-и микропрепаратов) с использованием гистологического и иммунногистохимического методов исследований. На основании данных медицинской документации и по результатам патолого-анатомического вскрытия сделан вывод, что причиной смерти больной явилась двусторонняя организующаяся пневмония в исходе перенесенной пневмонии в со-четании с ишемическим инфарктом головного мозга, осложненная полиорганной недостаточностью.
