The actions of community residents are dynamic and changeable. The outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic poses serious challenges to the functionality and safety of community public spaces. This paper uses TRIZ and QFD theories to analyze the possibilities of designing and updating the development of community public spaces in China during the epidemic.
