Snippet: Quantitative variables are presented as median and interquartile range (IQR), and categorical variables are presented as frequency and percentage. Normality of the continuous variables was assessed with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Differences between groups were examined using Student's t-test or Mann-Whitney U test for quantitative variables according to the normal distribution and Chi-square test or Fisher's exact test for categorical variable.....
Document: Quantitative variables are presented as median and interquartile range (IQR), and categorical variables are presented as frequency and percentage. Normality of the continuous variables was assessed with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Differences between groups were examined using Student's t-test or Mann-Whitney U test for quantitative variables according to the normal distribution and Chi-square test or Fisher's exact test for categorical variables. Multivariate logistic regression with forward stepwise selection based on likelihood ratio was used to identify the risk factors for development of severe NCP, and sensitivity analysis was performed according to the source of infection. Statistical analyses were performed using IBM SPSS statistics software (version 22.0, SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA) and R software (version 3.6.1). A P value of less than 0.05 considered to be statistically significant.
