A wide variety of sleep disorders can be evaluated, diagnosed, and managed via telemedicine, while maintaining the highest quality of patient care. This chapter presents two common sleep complaints as telemedicine cases, sleep-disordered breathing and insomnia. Although these complaints are common, they require a special approach via telemedicine. The challenges and pitfalls of these cases are discussed, as well as the distinct advantages of telemedicine in such scenarios. Additionally, clinical pearls are offered regarding the practice of sleep telemedicine, based on available evidence and guidelines.
