Secondary infections are considered as an important risk factor for mortality in SARS patients (76, 77) . This is the first systematic review aiming to assess the application of antibiotic agents for children with COVID-19. This study summarizes the literature on the efficacy and safety of antibiotic agents in the treatment of patients with COVID-19, SARS, and MERS.
