ALT (7, 7.69%) and AST (9, 9.89%) were slightly elevated in minority of cases. Suppressed calcium concentration and serum sodium concentration were less common. Some patients had abnormality in arterial blood gas analysis, with decreased PaO2 in 18 cases, increased levels of lactic acid in 25 cases, and increased PH in 14 cases.
