We used Fisher's exact test to compare percentages. Data were managed and analysed using STATA 13. We built a world map with country of acquisition's prevalence using the free software QGIS, version 2. 18 The study has been reported following the STROBE statement (Strengthening the reporting of observational studies in epidemiology) for reporting observational studies (Annex 1). Women had a higher seroprevalence (10.77%) compared with men (6.96%) (p-value = 0.005).
