Sodium Saccharin Sensitivity Test Solution (3M) for N95 respirator fit testing was used for testing the containment of aerosols in the ACE. Between five and fifty sprays of sodium saccharin were used in various test scenarios (Table 1 ). Assessors were exposed to a positive control of sodium saccharin and negative control of H2O. These assessors were blinded from the use of a negative control solution, containing only H2O, versus sodium saccharin solution. They were positioned 30 cm from an open port and asked if they could taste the solution under different test conditions (Table 1) . These trials were all conducted with 15 L min -1 O2 being introduced to the ACE via standard hospital wall oxygen tubing. The results were analyzed by Cochran's Q test in SPSSâ„¢ (IBM).
