Document: Participatory epidemiology is a new field that is focused on the use of participatory methods for gathering of data, veterinary information, and conventional oral history. Epidemiology involves group findings. Epidemiology is being used to bridge the gap between definition and practice through participatory research. Participatory GeoComputation approach is a kind of community-based spatial study in archaeology for spatial planning, spatial information, and communication management. The present chapter illustrates various of types of participatory GeoComputational techniques for emerging infectious disease and epidemiological control strategy. This chapter described about current participatory GeoComputational scenario, like crowdsourcing, crowdcasting, Web 2.0, Geotagging, Geo-Wiki, GeoBlog, GeoRSS feeds, and GeoCitizen, in disease control programme. This chapter also described about the social network, social distancing, social inequality, social relationships, and social capital and integration with the geospatial data for epidemiological application. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
