Document: The same point can be illustrated by a simple thought experiment. There is an activity which involves a high interaction level and two people who could be given that task, who otherwise would be relatively isolated. If one person works and the other is completely isolated, the one working has both a high probability of infection and a high probability of passing that on. If the job is divided between the two people, their infection rates are both half that of the individual worker but their probability of passing the infection on is also halved, and so the overall effect on propagating the disease is halved.
