It has been observed that COVID-19 mainly spreads via respiratory tract, contact and digestive tract. Due to the particularity of profession, ophthalmic medical workers need to be in close contact with patients, so they have a higher risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection. In this paper, therefore, the self-protection of medical workers in ophthalmology clinic during COVID-19 epidemic was summarized, so as to improve the occupational protection measures for medical workers in ophthalmology clinic, strengthen the self-protection awareness, and protect the safety of such a special group.
