We examined both outpatient and emergency room settings, describing prevalence of these symptoms since January 2, 2020, as the pandemic emerged in the northeast United States. Specifically, we sought to understand how documentation of psychiatric symptoms changed as disease activity increased in Eastern Massachusetts, and whether presence of documented psychiatric symptoms was associated with greater or lesser probability of COVID-19 testing.
